Gene has years of experience, which is what you want in a trainer, and he tailored my training program perfectly to my goals of losing belly fat and strengthening my core. Within just eight sessions, I can see the difference in the newer me. I went from struggling to hold a 1-minute plank to topping 3.5 minutes, and I progressed from barely lifting on side crunches to completing sets of 10 with a 30-degree upper body lift. It has been a rewarding start to a stronger, more confident me. As a bonus, the workouts have also helped with my frequent back pain.
He keeps you motivated and has a sharp eye for form and progress. What stands out most is how he explains why we’re doing each movement, not just how, so you understand the reasoning behind every exercise instead of just following instructions.

My first day at the Princeton Fitness and Wellness Center was a big fiasco! To manage an acute episode of postural dizziness and prevent a fall, I was placed on the floor for stabilization. He gently and respectfully explained the importance of staying well-hydrated and having enough breakfast prior to training.
Beyond that, he is a very good and gentle trainer who encourages you to do better without pushing you beyond your physical limits. He is helping me rebuild my confidence, and with his guidance and support, I am on my way to building a stronger and fitter body overall.

I don’t have enough good words for Gene, who has helped me transform from a lazy “outdoor sports only” guy to a highly energized and committed gym believer. Just wanted to share that working with Gene has been Terrific! I joined the club and began training at my physician’s request. This is my first experience in a gym and with a trainer.
