Kyle’s Success Stories

Joan W.

I have trained with Kyle for about two and a half years. There is a considerable disparity between our ages, but Kyle and I connected from the very beginning. Notwithstanding his youth, Kyle’s knowledge and understanding of our bodies and how they move is a real asset, and he has used that knowledge to help me with balance, strength, and overall fitness. Kyle is very good at adjusting training regimens depending on my health issues. He pushes me to achieve higher levels, particularly in strength training, and I feel stronger and fitter with his help and encouragement.

Kyle is easy to talk to and very respectful to me and others. We enjoy discussing many topics, and his intelligence makes the conversations meaningful. I look forward to continuing our training sessions and highly recommend Kyle as a Personal Trainer.

Working out Mondays at 5am starts the week off great. The results are amazing. I’ve been able to maintain a weight loss of about 15 pounds. The effects of working with Kyle are just as much psychological as physical. It encourages me to keep going to the Center! A special thanks to Kyle for his hard work and dedication to my training.

COVID forced a break in my Center sessions, settling on walking with friends as an exercise routine. Post-COVID and in my early 80s, I rejoined and realized that my upper body strength and general conditioning were not where they needed to be. By fortunate happenstance, I was matched with Kylenas, a trainer. Kyle discussed my conditioning goals and evaluated my starting point. Since then, we have worked together, varying the routine and slowly increasing the upper limits of weight settings on the various upper body and leg machines (to strengthen muscles supporting problematic knees!). These sessions are essential to my sense of well-being. We also share a common interest in track and field (Kyles is a high school track coach), which makes for interesting side discussions. From what I can tell, he’s up to speed on what’s happening in any sport. Kyle is analytical about issues or problems, and his affable manner makes discussion easy. As I move about the facility with him, I notice that he is greeted by members both older and younger than me – they must agree.

Kyle’s background in movement science/kinesiology is a considerable asset, and he understands body mechanics profoundly. I worked with him for about a year now, and with his guidance, I have improved my form, stamina, strength, and function. He takes the time to understand your priorities and incorporates them beautifully into your individualized programs. He also emphasizes functional fitness and core strength, key fundamentals to any regimen or program, and this has noticeably improved my back/shoulder pains to the point of resolution.

Kyle is approachable, non-threatening, friendly, and knowledgeable, the best combination you can have for a Personal Trainer. I will sign up for another round of Personal Training with Kyle and recommend him to others at the gym.
