Specialties:
Conditioning and Plyometrics, Athletic Training (specifically Boxing, Swimming, and Tennis) for all ages.
Fun Fact:
I ran my first 5k in 2016 and didn’t train for it (it was a last-minute event). Afterward, I felt like coughing up a lung, but I ended up winning 2nd place in the women’s division. It hurt, but I thought it was fun all in all. I never thought I would have to run again after that, but boy, was I wrong. I now consistently run Spartans and Savages every summer with my sisters.
Why did you go into Personal Training:
In high school, I was a three-sport seasoned athlete, and in the summer, I trained in multiple sports from Monday through Saturday. I was burnt out from conditioning, so in college, I stopped working out altogether. Over time, I did gain weight from overeating and from moving less than what I was used to. I started attempting to get back into working out when I discovered CrossFit, and that opened up my world to other sports, such as boxing, for which I am an instructor. Now, I want to help others find their love for working out and not just be a task they must mark off their to-do list.
Ahimy’s Success Stories
Edna C.
Ahimy is an amazing trainer. She explains everything clearly, ensures my posture is correct, and consistently identifies each movement’s target muscle. She pushes me to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone. Since training with her, I feel more knowledgeable and stronger, and I’m starting to see real changes in my body. I’m truly grateful to have met her and to be training with someone so dedicated.
