Frances’ Success Stories
Amber S.
We are so pleased and overjoyed to see our daughter’s progress! Amber (8 years old, autistic, non-verbal) has worked with instructor Fran for five months. Amber started her private 30-minute lessons with Fran with minimal interest and attention. Fran never wavered. She remained calm, consistent, and encouraging. Over the last five months, our daughter has gone from a mandatory flotation device to a tolerance of goggles and actual underwater swimming. She now jumps into the water, climbs out of a pool, and understands changing techniques while swimming on her stomach versus her back. We have tried dance classes, music classes, etc. and we have never seen such a quick response. We want to thank Fran for providing a consistent, supportive, and nurturing environment for our daughter to feel capable and included. Swimming is just a huge (and invaluable) bonus.
