Deborah Benick

Deborah has a passion for swimming, and recognizes the importance of water safety. She prides herself on helping create a safe, comfortable environment where all swim levels and ages can enjoy the Center pools.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Waynesburg University. Formerly, she was a nuclear medicine technologist, with her certification earned through Gwynedd Mercy University. She is a certified water safety instructor and lifeguard through the American Red Cross.

Deborah loves to teach swimming as much as she enjoys the sport itself. Her enjoyment radiates to all those she teaches.

Adriana enjoys creating and teaching individualized and Group Fitness programs for her clients based on her background in dance, Pilates, exercise science, and exercise psychology. Her experience and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and psychology allow her insight that benefits the Center’s diverse membership. Her understanding of the rehabilitation process makes her an empathetic and effective teacher in both Pilates and dance.

She values Pilates as an intelligent method of movement and a dynamically fun exercise method for all bodies. Adriana shares her passion for movement with her clients so each can discover fuller movement potential and quality-of-life.
