Sandra knows members visit the Aquatics center for varied reasons. She helps each individual love their time in the water.

She brings an impressive background to her position. Sandra earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University, Boston-Bouvé College of Human Development Professions, in recreation and leisure studies. She is a national board-certified therapeutic recreation specialist from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification. Sandra is a level 3 certified masters swim coach through United States Masters Swimming where she also is a member; and a certified coach through USA Swimming and the American Swim Coaches Association. She is the head NJ age group all-star Zone coach and a head age-group swim coach in the community.

Sandra earned certifications in water safety instruction, and safety training for swim coach instruction, through the American Red Cross. She is a certified lifeguard with CPR/AED and first aid training through the American Red Cross. She has additional certifications and training through USA Swimming, including everything from concussion management, athlete protection, SafeSport, and competitive-swim officiation.

Her extensive experience and skillset allow Sandra to successfully help members achieve their diverse goals, from learning to swim to improving their stroke for competition both in the pool and open water. She specializes in competitive group aquatics, with programs that focus on enhancing technique and fitness.
