Not a workout goes by where I fail to note Jeff’s conscientiousness. His selection of exercises is planned, not spontaneous. Frequently, he seeks feedback from his clients to determine their progress. He uses that feedback to vary their fitness plans. His knowledge of exercise physiology is voluminous, and he takes a flexible approach with each individual. With Jeff there is plenty of nuance. If only I trained with Jeff years ago when I briefly pursued resistance training, I would not have injured myself and gotten discouraged. I think he may be missing his calling. He is so good, perhaps he’d serve his profession better by training future trainers rather than spending time on us novices. However, I’m glad he hasn’t figured that out yet.
