I have worked with Mike since February 2014, when I was recovering from sciatica. I had gone through months of pain, followed by months of Physical Therapy, and felt well enough to resume working out. I interviewed a few trainers and determined that Mike had the knowledge to bring me back to physical health. I was entirely right. He worked carefully with me to ensure that I would get stronger again and that the pain would not return.

Now, at 75, I am physically fit, walk 30-40 minutes daily and work out 2-3 times a week. I feel great and am very happy about my physical health. My husband and I heat our house with wood, and I’m in charge of stacking it when it is delivered, moving it into the house, and building and keeping the fire going. I love doing that and am so glad I’m fit enough to do it. Thank you, Mike!

Michael is full of relevant information about human muscles, joints, and tendons, whether male or female, tall or short, plump or skinny, young or old or older. He’s been my trainer for at least a couple of years, and every time I’ve had an issue, Michael has known an exercise right that would fix it. Mike Cruikshank is an exceptional trainer. He has developed a strong, consistent training program that has allowed me to incorporate strength training into my fitness regimen. He focused a lot on technique and form, allowing me to maximize the benefit of the exercise and avoid injury. Mike is also a good listener and modifies our program consistently with my aches and pains. He also offers good tips and advice, including videos on exercises I can perform in between sessions. I am happy with the results I have achieved over the past year with Mike, including a 14-pound weight loss.
