Why did you go into Personal Training:
In high school, I was a three-sport seasoned athlete, and in the summer, I trained in multiple sports from Monday through Saturday. I was burnt out from conditioning, so in college, I stopped working out altogether. Over time, I did gain weight from overeating and from moving less than what I was used to. I started attempting to get back into working out when I discovered CrossFit, and that opened up my world to other sports, such as boxing, for which I am an instructor. Now, I want to help others find their love for working out and not just be a task they must mark off their to-do list.

She pushed me with great exercises, corrected my form, showed me how to use machines I’d been too intimidated to try, and even introduced me to brand-new moves. I was sore in places I didn’t know existed, but she made the challenge fun. On top of being super knowledgeable, Ahimy is hilarious and encouraging—she pushes you hard while keeping you laughing through the pain.

Ahimy is an amazing trainer. She explains everything clearly, ensures my posture is correct, and consistently identifies each movement’s target muscle. She pushes me to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone. Since training with her, I feel more knowledgeable and stronger, and I’m starting to see real changes in my body.
