Laura Jadwin Bachko
Childcare Manager
Princeton
A lifelong athlete, Childcare Manager Laura recognizes the need to instill a love of fitness at an early age. She was a champion swimmer by age 12, an equestrian, and ballerina who performed with every native New York City company as well as the international companies opening their tours at Lincoln Center. Laura also was a member of the Metropolitan Opera children’s chorus, spending five years on the stage with hopes to earn enough to buy a horse, her first love.

She was one of the first women accepted at Princeton University where she and five other women swimmers founded the Princeton University women’s swim team. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in architecture. After graduation, she worked in software publishing for Harper & Row and IBM while learning American Flagship Management from her father. She became CEO of his company after his death.
As the Center’s childcare manager, Laura is excited to share her enthusiasm for a healthy lifestyle with her charges. She and her team create a thriving environment where friendships are made and children learn through play.
