Helping Center members accomplish fitness goals is a true joy for Personal Trainer Matt. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science, with a Minor in strength and conditioning, from the University of Delaware. He is a certified lifeguard, water safety instructor, and professional rescuer. His experience includes time spent as a personal trainer aide, supervisor of a wellness facility, and Lacrosse coach.
Matt specializes in Olympic weightlifting and sports performance training. He also is skilled at helping members strengthen their way through post-rehabilitative exercises. His professional aquatics background allows him to help members in the soothing buoyancy of the Center pools. Matt teaches swim lessons, as well.
His hobbies include playing soccer, lacrosse, and football. He also enjoys the theater. Fun fact: Matt wrote and directed his own play in high school.
