Become empowered to reach your fitness goals through Janet’s customized training programs. Janet earned her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the University of Surrey, England. There, she enjoyed a 15-year career in pharmaceutical laboratory management before moving to the United States in 2008.
Fueled by desire to set a good example to her family, Janet embarked on a fit and healthier lifestyle. Determined to share her passion for fitness and healthy living, she earned her personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is also CPR/AED certified.
Janet understands the challenges of balancing family, career, and self- time for exercise. She successfully assists all levels of fitness seekers. She strives to help members move and feel better so they can live a more active lifestyle, reach fitness goals, and enjoy a higher quality-of-life. Her favorite exercise tool is the stability ball. She often incorporates its use during her sessions to strengthen the core, and improve balance and posture.
She is a former ballroom and Latin American dancer. Janet enjoys following the English soccer league, cycling with family, and listening to an eclectic selection of music. She is an avid fan of singer-songwriter Rod Stewart, who attends his concerts whenever possible.

A year and a half ago, I was diagnosed with a rare, degenerative muscle disease called dermatomyositis, which also has an associated risk of cancer. After I was diagnosed, I had a body scan. A mass was discovered in my right colon and appendix. Both had to be removed! Despite the medications, surgery, and disease diagnosis, I was determined to gain control of my well-being and health.
