Angela Knott

Angela earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in geography from St. Cloud State University, Minnesota. She is a certified personal trainer through the World Instructor Training Schools and the National Strength and Conditioning Association, with CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross. Prior to her career in fitness, Angela spent ten years in financial services.

She specializes in developing appropriate training routines for those new to fitness. She also is skilled at helping her clients improve balance, accomplish healthy body weight, and create healthier lifestyles.

Angela enjoys spending free time with family, including her two sons; volunteer work; skiing; playing tennis and golf; and going to the movies. She also likes to cook, read, and travel.

Through strength training, Angela helps members enhance all other areas of life.

I am a senior who began working with Angela two years ago. I lost 16 pounds and was delighted with my success. I loved working with her. Then, I was sidelined with a serious heart issue. I had to be away from the Center for 15 months. When I returned, I resumed my workouts in the therapy pool. I was told to start with five minutes twice a week. By the end of eight weeks, Angela helped me manage 30-45 minutes in the pool. I was amazed by how my endurance, muscle tone, and balance improved. Now, I work out on the Fitness Floor again.
