Sharon LaForge is a key member of the Fitness Training team. She strives to make each member’s time on the Exercise Floor enjoyable and productive. Previously, she owned Evolutions Fitness, Inc. in East Windsor for ten years. Sharon is adept at connecting members with personal trainers who specialize in their fitness goals. She is an ACE-certified Personal Trainer, as well as certified in Hardstyle Kettlebell training, the Functional Movement Screen, RYT through Yoga Alliance, Star Level Three, and Delay the Disease (Parkinson’s Certification).
She is certified in a variety of exercise disciplines, including as a Star Level Three cycle instructor, senior yoga instructor, and pre/post natal yoga instructor. Her background also includes heart rate training.
In her free time, Sharon enjoys practicing yoga, running, cycling, hiking, and camping. As a mother of two teenage boys, Kyle and Kade, she spends a lot of time at their football, baseball, and lacrosse games in my free time. She is an animal lover. Her pets include two dogs and two cats, all of which were homeless until meeting her. Sharon was also a gymnast. Fun fact: She once cycled for 12 straight hours.
Sharon is excited to witness the life-improving benefits fitness has on each member, both physically and mentally. Sometimes the results are subtle, other times drastic.
