Personal Trainer Sean Stives helps members create a strong foundation upon which they can build healthy, lifelong habits. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in health and exercise science, with a specialization in health promotion and fitness management, from Rowan University.
Sean is a certified corrective exercise specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is a USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, with certification in Aquatic Performance Training. Sean also is certified in Aquakinetics.
His sessions focus on multi-joint movements to support the physical activities involved in daily life. He specializes in strength training, including Olympic weightlifting; weight loss; post-rehabilitation fitness; and helping those with special health needs exercise safely and effectively. Each session is focused on helping his clients prevent injuries and maximize fitness efforts. Sean helps his clients manage physical and mental stress to improve the outcome of their workouts and enhance their overall quality-of-life.
His clients gain confidence so they can excel when working out independently as well as during his training sessions. He teaches how to persevere, overcome obstacles, and commit to a healthier lifestyle. Sean prides himself on a nonjudgmental approach to help achieve amazing, lasting results for each individual.
